At Gen Con 2010 I'm gonna do a Life Size board game event. But I'm already planning on an event for 2011. I figured it will take me that long to playtest and amass the amount of minis needed to do a Heroscape recreation of the battle of Helms Deep.
So what I am doing is trying to get 3 Castle sets on ebay cheap or pick them up at Gen Con 2010. I am also putting a call out to anyone who wants to donate some orc minis.
I would like to get a couple hundered to really make it a hell of a fight for the players.
The players will be defending while I attack with the orc hoarde. The players will have x amount of rounds to keep the masses out. When time elaspes and the inner keep is still unbreached then the players win. (Gandolf arriving with reinforcements at end of time.)
If the orcs get in then it will pretty much be a slaughter of all in the keep.
